A friend of my mom's has said that she's seen the game at a casino in Oklahoma, so I think it's safe to post this video.
Earlier this year, the boyfriend and I got to do the art assets for a casino game. Check it out!
Last month went by in a blur. I completed an entire suit of foam armor for a client who is now in California. She's going to be on stage at the costume contest at Blizzcon! I'll post as many pictures and videos as I can find.
October ended with me being invited to guest at Oni-Con in Galveston, Texas.
I'd been looking forward to the con as a much needed vacation, and it did not disappoint.
Now I'm back home and starting on my next personal prop, the book from Nier. Extra casts will be available on Etsy with one going to a friend for Xmas.
Until I have more pictures to post of Blizzcon, enjoy some WIP.
My boyfriend has been using Shapeways a bunch lately, and I talked him into making me some Ghost earrings from the game Destiny. I had them done in Polished Nickel Steel. Overall, each weighs 8 grams per ear.
This is great! I've been looking for nerdy earrings for a while, but now I've got someone who can make me whatever I can think of.
I've been commissioned to do a personalized version of Alexstraza for a local cosplayer. Now, I normally don't take full armor commissions, but she is going to be competing at Blizzcon and I can't pass up the chance to have my stuff seen on that stage. We've decided to go with a battle version of the character. This has involved a redesign of the chest area, along with the shoulder armor. I'm adding texture and details where ever I can think too, and the client is more than happy to have me do so!
The Blizzfest art contest by Game Artisans has been extended to Oct 1st, so I'm trying to find some time to get something in as well.
I got pull Lynx out of the closet for a quick shoot with my friend Chelsea. She's been getting into working with RAW and needed a new subject. A big thank you to her and Nick (who was an awesome helper) for this great picture.
Cosplay was made and worn by me. The mask and hands are silicone.
My boyfriend just finished his latest Shapeway piece, the PT sink baby! I can't wait to have one on my desk. http://shpws.me/vLbN
I'm done! Well, almost. Just need to wait for it to dry and then I'll glaze it, and THEN I'll be done. Colors are a bit off here. Quick cell phone pic.
I'm starting to work on the GameArtisan's latest challenge: Blizzardfest I've chosen to do a Warrior Harpy as a Hero Character. Here's the concepts for the helmet, atm. Each one could lead the character in a different way. Kinda feeling B and C the most. When I begin playing with her silhouette, I should get an idea as to which one I'll go for.
