Welcome to the real work....after New Years 12/19/2010
And I am graduated. Kinda. I won't really, officially know if I'll get my diploma till tomorrow when they official release grades. I'm not worried. I'm 99.99999% certain I passed all my classes. My grandmother and cousin were kind enough to fly down for 48 hours. It meant a lot having them there. The ceremony was short. Only two colleges walking. Fine Art and Applied Arts. Mom was a bit upset when she saw that I didn't get any cords though I have a 3.7 gpa at least. I had to explain how I was a transfer student and needed to have completed 60 hours at Texas State to get cords. I only did three semesters there. Barely 50 hours. After the ceremony, everyone went to Fogo De Chao for one of the most expensive and amazing dinners I've ever had. My closest friends got to come along too. During the dinner, a bug ran out onto the table. It didn't bother anyone one, but the owner kept apologizing and sent out free desserts for everyone at the end. As if I wasn't already stuffed. Now I'm enjoying my break and finishing up on my cosplay for Ikkicon. I'll start sending out my portfolio after the New Year. I plan to submit my novel by the end of January as well. Almost forgot, but my grandmother got me an Ipad as a bday/graduation/xmas present. I'm still getting used to it. Here's my first attempt with the ArtStudio App. CommentsLeave a Reply |
