Working out a problem by painting 01/08/2010
I'm working on a painting right now. Must have mentioned it last post. It has no real purpose other than I've been wanting to paint for a while. It's more a way for me to play. I've run into a snag. I'm not sure how to proceed when it comes to the light. The first picture is of the painting as is. The others are alterations created digitally to see how the changes would play out. Got the Mass Effect helmet pepped. Went through several incarnations. But I'm happy with this pep. I'll be smoothcasting it in the morning and then get to begin detailing it next weekend. Got to enter my first art show last weekend. Only submitted two works. The Fall and Midnight. Even made my own frames for them. Just thin strips of wood painted black. The reception is the 21st. It will be nice to see all the other work there and even if any of my stuff sold.... Art 10/16/2009
Did two paintings recently. Got one done for a friend for his birthday. He really likes Halo. The other came from some inspiration from Art History class. Something done by Mondrian. Will have updates on cosplays soon.  Master Chief  Red Tree Real paintbrushes are nice 08/05/2009
Finally got around to doing a dragon painting for a friend. I'm going to continue with this theme and do at least two more. They'll be digital though because I don't have anymore canvas.  From a'top a dragon Cleaning out the closet. 05/08/2009

Got to working on the painting a bit in the last few days but had to stop. Ran out of Paine's Grey. One of my favorite colors to use instead of black. Still got more work to do. I need to increase the contrast on the cloth.  The Fall 03/31/2009
