My brother and I have had this idea for a while. I just thought it would be funny to have Norton 'hulk' out when Tyler tells him to hit him. That would be the end of the movie. Which would suck, but the over all idea is funny. I've got a couple other ideas I'm going to put in comic form. Which is good because I need the practice. I'll be doing a special problem class next semester in which I make a comic. I love getting a head start.
It's not all in color because I actually prefer comics in black and white. I might add more color later... Enjoy.
And, for those of you who visit my site (I know you exist, I have a counter...) please drop me a comment and let me know if the overall design is working for the site. Let me know if anything is awkward or just doesn't work. Thanks!

Fight Club: Jack's Fist
Before I went to bed the other night, I decided to pick up my pencil and just draw. Had something interesting pop out. Not my usual style, but I still like it. Also did a quick sketch for a potential graphic novel I really want to do in the future.

Seems that some things have come up and Dead Enders is being put on the back burners again. It gives me time to work on the characters at least.
My brother approached me today about doing a comic between us. I think its a good idea. He's a good writer, I can see it working. lol. But when it came out, we'd have to explain that we are brother and sister, not husband and wife.
While waiting on word about the statis of the comic earlier, I decided to practice some more on my digital stuff. Didn't want to scan anything in, just wanted to work with the wacom tablet. The floating tree has been an idea in my head for a while. Glad I got it down so that it resembles my vision at least a little. It was on a canvas once, but got painted over.

Floating Tree
Took a break from working on the cover and decided to color a sketch for Kat.

Nom Nom Nom
Got the layout done for the cover. It will very intersting to see how it turns out. Cass is th colorest of the group, but I think that I might want to be the one to color it. I see it in my head already, done in the style that Jo-Chan uses. I love her work.
Also, if I can find the time, I plan on entering an art contest for ConceptArt.Org. Just got the email yesterday even though the contest has been going on for a month. I still have a month left. Theme is giving life or birth or somthing along those lines. Winner gets a new wacom tablet and stuff. I could use more stuff.
Here is some of the sketches from yesterday in Austin. There is alot of warm up stuff because I haven't really had the chance to do alot of live drawing lately. It just felt good to play around.

More warm up
And here is some of the layouts I'm playing with for the cover for Dead Enders 0.

Dead Enders Layout Fun
Finished my second piece for the 405th and sent it in. My best wishes go out to Kensai111 who is my editor and super sick. I hope he feels better soon.
Did some more concept art today, working mainly on something called a Rollick. Will post when permission is given.
Finally! News about Dead Enders. Went down to Austin today and met with the rest of the creators. Got all the layouts done for issue 0. I've got alot of art to do, including a two page cover. Might post it on Penciljack to get their amazing opinions on what might need to be changed.
Went to Austin Books and Comics, the mecca of comic books, yesterday. Found Skydolls, a french comic book translated by Marvel. I absolutly love this series. Read it online a few weeks ago and wanted more. This really makes me want to get started on my graphic novel. But I've decided that I need to get my normal novel done first, all the while looking at colleges and working on my concept art. Then I will do my graphic novel, and maybe something else.
I want to try something different with the graphic novel. Maybe do it on canvas so that I can paint it acrylicly. Might be something different...
Finally decided to post the rough pencils for Kurt. Not quite happy with them, but I'm not sure that I'll ever be. Just wanted to know what people think of them. Be kind, this is my first try at actual sequential art en all. Fred and George don't count. Might add text later. Might even add color. Not quite sure as of yet.
Also, sorry for the funny spacing towards the end. I need to work on that. The panels just didn't line up like I wanted them.
Here is a quick study of a knight for a potential painting. Oh, and a comic that I had forgotten about. Did it at Ikkicon. Based on a true story. I was the witch.
