Might end up entering an art show in two weeks. Friends have chosen some of my "City" works as their favorite, so I might just let them go.
Ah. And next weekend is Kat's bday! I can't wait for a day full of ice skating and sushi!

Working hard on my new cosplays. Managed to model, unfold, and print out my new helmet. Got most of it built and it looks as if it might fit. Woo! Mom is amazing. She's working really hard on the hoods for 3 and 4 and they look great. I really need to get more done on my 7. I've got the clay but haven't really been able to find very many good pictures on the characters. Guess I just need to get started and see what happens. I've been trying to do this excersize for some time and it's just happening naturally now. lol I'm loving this. I feel like drawing again! It's getting easier and easier to just have something pop out of my brain onto the paper. I feel whole again. Found time today during a class to do a quick sketch for myself. Inspiration comes from King of Thorns, a manga. Super good too. Ordered free sample of wonderflex plastic to test before I start new cosplay. Sorry for the lack of update. Had alot of cosplay stuff to work on as well as getting ready for school. My cosplay group, Skinka Studios, performed our first skit ever at A-fest. Written by Waltz, it was really good and people seemed to like it. We didn't win anything, but I'm cool with that. I don't agree with the judging on the other skits however. One excellent one didn't get jack out of it. Anyway, beginning work on next group and single cosplays. Finding pics and supplies. I'll be posting some of my school projects on here too as time goes along. |
