Here is some of the sketches from yesterday in Austin. There is alot of warm up stuff because I haven't really had the chance to do alot of live drawing lately. It just felt good to play around.

And here is some of the layouts I'm playing with for the cover for Dead Enders 0.

Finished my second piece for the 405th and sent it in. My best wishes go out to Kensai111 who is my editor and super sick. I hope he feels better soon.

Did some more concept art today, working mainly on something called a Rollick. Will post when permission is given.

Finally! News about Dead Enders. Went down to Austin today and met with the rest of the creators. Got all the layouts done for issue 0. I've got alot of art to do, including a two page cover. Might post it on Penciljack to get their amazing opinions on what might need to be changed.

They got me working on another illustration. Seems that Bungie has linked to the site because a bunch of vetrans of the 405th sent them a goody box of props and helmets. So, this means that more people will be visiting and checking out the forums. I hope that my artwork does the site justice.

Feeling very inspired lately though. Started the next peice on Photoshop. No sketching scanned in. Not going for as much as a comic book look this time. Did take some reference pictures of myself for the pose. And you never really realize how difficult drawing a UNSC marine can be until you have to pick which armor to use. Sooo many out there to pick from. And you have to be careful based on what time period in the Halo Universe you are portraying.

Just finished and uploaded my first peice for the 405th. Went with a comic book look. Has heavy black lines and such. I'll post it after it's been published in the e-zine.

Edit: Editor said it was okay to post as long as I say where it was used after it's been used. Okay. That was a weird sentence. lol

So, here is my first peice for the 405th Source.

Just got back from Hawai'i this morning. Used to live there seven years ago. Went back and did the haole thing for my brother's graduation gift. Stayed on Waikiki for once. Visited old family friends.

Island has really changed. Waaaay too many people now. It's dieing. My old neighborhood has gone down hill. No one seems to care about the island anymore.

Anyway, spent alot of time sleeping. Stupid jetlag... Dad signed us up for surfing lessons the day before we left. Had alot of fun and managed to say up most of the waves. But ow. My back is burned. The sunburn on the insides of my knees is a new layer of hell. And it feels like my ribs are bruised. My cat stepped on my chest today during a nap and I screamed. Carl's and dad's ribs hurt too, so I don't what it is. Might be from just laying on the board for two hours.

I'm now a member of the source for the 405th. I'll be making artwork for the various articles that find their home in the e-zine. I'm super excited, but hate the fact that I can't really start untill I get back from vacation. Boo.

Did force myself to start studying spartans more closely. Did a study of a helmet last night, all on photoshop. I like how it turned out. Might post it later because the 405th has first dibs on it's use as of now.

Kuno got some video of us, and it's set to music. Enjoy!

I can't believe we did it. Kat and I finished our armor and got to enter it in the cosplay walk-on contest. And we won 2nd place! I love it. We walked on stage, did two poses, then took off our helmets and the crowd freaked. Oh no! Two girls in Halo armor! I had so much fun this weekend. My body is stiff from how I had to walk. Not very easy by the way, to walk in armor, especially down stairs or across a busy street.

Got to meet several other 405th members and invited others to come. Go there, now. To the 405th. It is awesome. Here are some pics a friend took of us.
