Did the pencils for my first page of my comic today on a beautiful peice of bristol. My scanner is way too small and adds way too much shadow. I need to find somewhere to scan it in. I'm not sure if it will inked or even colored. If colored, maybe traditional watercolor.

Oh. And I got my camera to work. Here is the beginning of the painting I'm working on. It used to be many things...

Here is the finished concept for the demonic Scar from Worlds At War.

Saturday the 28th is Earth Day. Turn off your lights at 8:30 pm. Should make for some good stargazing...

After spending much of yesterday viewing other people's comics, ie Tracy Butler, I've decided to try and start mine. I've looked at some of the scripts available and would prefer to tell my own story. This should give me some good practice. I know that it will suck at the beginning, but with time and paitence, it should begin to click. I hope. lol

Took Kat with me to Texas State yesterday. Beautiful school. I love how it's on a hill. Still have some others to look at, but it has some promise.

Signed up today for penciljack.com. Ryan Ottley was discovered there by Kirkman. I figure good things might happen to me too. Also, I've decided to pay attention to my deviant art account again. Seems like a good place to attract people's attention. There are sooo many people there anyway.

Would have posted a pic of the painting I'm working on right now, but my camera is being stupid. Won't even open.

So, here is the most recent concept art for Awkward games, the Scar full body. Still have some minor details to change. The hooves have to go. Might do more to the head.

Going to be doing some tutoring for the local school district to earn some extra cash. Math and science. Easy stuff.

Decided to post up some personal character designs for a comic I'm thinking about doing.

Sorry for not posting for a while. Been working on my novel alot lately. Up to 114 pages now. The more I write, the more excited I get about it. Working on some concept work as well for a demonic, not dragonic, creature called the Scar. Have to laugh. Seems to be the one of the game developer's favorites. Lots of little things to get right. Good practice in working with a picky client. lol. Love ya Giggles.

Oh, and decided to paint over an old painting. Wasn't really finished anyway and didn't want to finish it either. Used 3ds max to plot out the peice, show how the angles went and such. Will post it as soon as I get more done.

Enjoy some of the head variations of the Scar:

Got the okay from the staff at Awkward games to post some of what I do on my site. Wooo. So, here is the final concept for the sweet creature called a Herascith. Never thought I'd love a worm so much.

Boy with magical scarf. Wooooooo.

Spent the weekend at Ikkikon in Austin. Not as big as Akon or even Anime Fest. But still a reason for dress up and run around like an idiot.

Put together a quick Vaporeon Gajinka and a Witch (Left 4 Dead). Vaporeon was okay other than the hot glue needed to keep my ears on. Which I had to apply while the cap and the ears were on my head.

Felt naked as the Witch, and cold. But it turned out well. Had a semi professional photo shoot with a Zoey, 3 hunters, and a Bill. I can't wait to see how they come out.

Saw alot of art there too. I wish that I had something done that I could have put in the art auction.
