Did the pencils for my first page of my comic today on a beautiful peice of bristol. My scanner is way too small and adds way too much shadow. I need to find somewhere to scan it in. I'm not sure if it will inked or even colored. If colored, maybe traditional watercolor.
Oh. And I got my camera to work. Here is the beginning of the painting I'm working on. It used to be many things...
Add Comment Saturday the 28th is Earth Day. Turn off your lights at 8:30 pm. Should make for some good stargazing... After spending much of yesterday viewing other people's comics, ie Tracy Butler, I've decided to try and start mine. I've looked at some of the scripts available and would prefer to tell my own story. This should give me some good practice. I know that it will suck at the beginning, but with time and paitence, it should begin to click. I hope. lol Took Kat with me to Texas State yesterday. Beautiful school. I love how it's on a hill. Still have some others to look at, but it has some promise. Going to be doing some tutoring for the local school district to earn some extra cash. Math and science. Easy stuff. Sorry for not posting for a while. Been working on my novel alot lately. Up to 114 pages now. The more I write, the more excited I get about it. Working on some concept work as well for a demonic, not dragonic, creature called the Scar. Have to laugh. Seems to be the one of the game developer's favorites. Lots of little things to get right. Good practice in working with a picky client. lol. Love ya Giggles. Got the okay from the staff at Awkward games to post some of what I do on my site. Wooo. So, here is the final concept for the sweet creature called a Herascith. Never thought I'd love a worm so much. Spent the weekend at Ikkikon in Austin. Not as big as Akon or even Anime Fest. But still a reason for dress up and run around like an idiot. |
